HOLY HANNAH!:

Janis meets Jimi. Minneapolis native Hannah von der Hoff (Holy Hannah!) releases her long awaited album debut, K.I.S.S. Method, recorded to tape at Brown Bag Studios in 2018. Her original music conjures 60’s/70’s Rock & Roll and Motown, channeling blues, jazz, soul, funk and roots music. Prepare for an audience-wide belly moan as her visceral trio and featured guests recreate this album’s dynamic soundscape that’ll get you into a dark steamy corner and/or onto the blacktop.

'“Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter/guitarist Hannah von der Hoff just may have stepped out of a classic Film Noir to haunt your dreams. With a dramatic stage presence, gritty, intoxicating guitar that drips with luscious chords, and sensual, visceral vocal delivery, she is a striking femme fatale whose music is every bit as dangerous as it is exciting.” KARE 11

As the “poster child of entropy”, it’s no surprise that Eric Mayson’s music and live performance is a journey from disbelief into knowing and back again. He understands music as a way to move through space. In an aerial shot, Mayson’s wide-ranging style stretches from minimalist electropop to smooth R&B, progressive soul, and straight hip-hop, while visiting grinning pop, rock and roll, and operatic arrangements.
