Halsey Harkins:

"One of the strongest voices among the recent wave of young local talent, native Las Vegan Halsey Harkins is making ripples on and off the Strip. The pianist, singer, and songwriter performs frequently in production shows and has built a following for her brassy, torchy original tunes.” - KNPR (Named 'Best Local Singer / Songwriter'  of 2016 by KNPR)

Hemma, meaning homeland, is the moniker of Hannah Antle Hebl. Presently creating in Minneapolis, Hebl has spent time creating in San Francisco, Montreal, New York, and her hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The sound has been fostered through the intensely focused and generous community of Eau Claire, whose converging rivers are brimming with exquisite sonic energy; a kind of Muscle Shoals of this new era of iPhone voice memos and bedroom recordings. Hemma paints narrative landscapes of longing, lust, mistrust and deep intrigue for the art of the con, all in the vein of the illustrious pathways carved by Patsy Cline, Etta James, and Joni Mitchell. Her first full length, Con, will be released in the late spring.
