Rooted in the tradition of classic Americana & Folk storytelling with a tip of the hat to Blues & Southern Soul, Jeff Krause pairs lyric-forward songs with a guitar style that moves from Acoustic coffee house strums to dusty bar Blues. Jeff Krause got his start in the midwest as a lead guitar player in the vast and ever growing songwriting culture of the Twin Cities. Celebrating the recent release of his debut solo EP “Naked & Hardhearted” featuring songs that are all too relatable about the ins and outs of love with a common thread of the persevering spirit born from the highs and lows of life. Inspired by the lyric writing of greats such as Jason Isbell & John Prine and the acoustic grooves of Amos Lee & Ray LaMontagne, Krause crafts songs that are suited for an intimate acoustic show or a full stage.
One of the most powerful and unique voices in the Twin Cities music scene, Jillian Rae planted her own flag in the musical landscape with the 2013 release of Heartbeat, a confident pop record with subtle nods to her bluegrass and classical pedigrees. Her songs are full of heartache, truth, and often a beguiling sense of playfulness. Rae’s songwriting is not easily pigeon holed, and neither is her playing. You can find her playing country fiddle on one tune, rock guitar on the next, or driving her violin through synthy guitar effects on another. Her 2017 EP, Wanderlust. More of a stripped-down country record, Wanderlustshowcases Rae’s dynamic and earnest vocal chops. Music journalist Youa Vang called Rae a heavy hitter whose “voice will stay with you long after the show is over.”
As a committed wanderer, Jessica Paige draws on personal experience and the stories of old souls to bring her own unique brand of songwriting to the stage. Folk-inspired lyricism is brought to life by a master vocalist, backed by a dynamic soulful band. "She's a must see with her strong stage presence and sultry vocals, with a deep focus on lyrics." -The Heartland Today. "The record showcases Paige's gift for crafting lovely, indelible melodies and for her expressive, soulful voice, which shifts easily among several styles"- The Kansas City Star.
