D Mills and The Thrills:

D Mills and The Thrills are a hip-hop band from Fargo, ND. With six members in the band, The Thrills have a big presence and an even bigger sound. Jazzy, bold and rocking, The Thrills create powerful grooves and pleasant melodies to complement D Mills' percussive lyrical delivery and energetic stage presence. Their original songs are written collaboratively and include elements of modern jazz, alternative rock, Americana, psychedelic rock and neo-soul. Perhaps the band's most coherent element is their tightly wound rhythmic grooves -- the hip-hop. D Mills & The Thrills are the only established hip-hop band in the state of North Dakota; D Mills is the only established female rapper in the state. Career highlights include features on MPR's Morning Edition, NPR Music Blog and Prairie Public's "Prairie Musicians." The band has opened for artists like Dessa, Caroline Smith and Mayday. D Mills, as a solo artist, has opened for platinum recording artists Nelly and Sir Mix-A-Lot. In their hometown of Fargo, The Thrills have hosted numerous sell-out performances at venues such as Fargo Brewing Company and The Aquarium. Celebrated Minnesota musicians like Carnage The Executioner, Heatbox, Kanser, Ryan Young (Trampled by Turtles) and Chastity Brown have performed with the band. D Mills & the Thrills have release one full-length album, “On Your Mark.” Available on Spotify and iTunes.

Mina Moore is a singer-song writer from Minneapolis. Her music draws from that of her upbringing, leaning heavily on soul, R&B, and inevitably, pop. Like so many of us, Mina's pallet is ever growing, and her live performances aim to educate as much as entertain.
