Benny Weinbeck

Benny Weinbeck is a successful performer, producer, composer, arranger and bandleader. His playing styles include jazz, latin, and world music. Weinbeck has produced several albums of original compositions and one of solo piano jazz standards. He has also appeared on Gordon Johnson's album, "Trios V1. and V3". (with Steve Gadd on drums) and many others. Benny has been performing since 1980 in venues around the world. He has worked with some of the top musicians and producers in the music industry. His travels around the globe have taken him on many adventures as well as unforgettable musical experiences. He is currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is currently working on several recording projects and independent films. His four self-produced albums of his compositions have had extensive airplay and have been used in several television and radio ads.  His solo jazz piano album of famous jazz standards, was 26 weeks on KBEM-FM jazz radio in Minneapolis.


Adam Linz:

Adam Linz is the Jazz Studies Program coordinator and electric and acoustic bass instructor at MacPhail. Adam is a well-known bass player in the Twin Cities jazz scene. He co-leads the internationally award-winning group Fat Kid Wednesdays with childhood friends Mike Lewis and JT Bates, touring extensively throughout Europe and North America. Adam has taught at Macalester College, Augsburg College, Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth and EDAM Music outreach in Paris, and has given clinics in places such as Chile, Argentina, Seattle, New York, Houston, Germany, and Switzerland.  Adam has performed with such jazz greats as Evan Parker, Stanley Turretine, Milt Jackson and electronic artist, Dosh.

He has a Bachelor of Music from the William Paterson University Jazz Studies program.
