Cunningham, Rossetto, and Ylvisaker is brand new instrumental trio made up of three of the Twin Cities’ most virtuosic, versatile and textural musicians. Their two acoustic/electric guitars plus banjo recipe suggests a rich gumbo of equal parts West African Blues, Gypsy and Middle eastern modes, and Twin Peaks American twang.
Chris Cunningham is a guitarist with a long resumé spanning many years as a studio musician and touring guitarist both in his native NYC and the Twin Cities. He has recorded and performed with Marianne Faithfull, The Lounge Lizards, John Zorn, Marshall Crenshaw, and currently leads Fall of the House of Usher (FOTHOU).
Michael Rossetto is a banjoist and guitarist. For seven years he led the instrumental quartet, Spaghetti Western String Co., and has been known to perform with The Pines, Pieta Brown, Frankie Lee.
Jeremy Ylvisaker is a guitarist who has performed with Andrew Bird, Brother Ali, Fog, The Suburbs, and more— and composes and produces solo music as well as with the groups Alpha Consumer, Gramma's Boyfriend, and Guitar Party (to name a few).
