Crunchy Kids:

Headed by experienced Twin Cities’ musicians, emcee, Chance York and the multi-talented Eric Mayson, Crunchy Kids is described as a premier hip-hop band, smooth, fun, and thoughtful. Jazzy, gritty, and rich, Crunchy Kids music has kept fans waiting for a follow-up to their cohesive, 2013 release, “Mint.” Now, in May of 2016 they will release “Crop,” an EP that highlights their growth, evolution, and patience. The release party will be held at Icehouse in Minneapolis on May 20.

Doks Robotiks:

Combining a longtime staple of the Eau Claire music scene with a genre currently taking the city by storm, Doks Robotiks blends jazz with hip-hop into a volatile cocktail best served in a live setting.

The collective prides itself on a large cast of musicians that contribute vocal hooks and horn lines to its funky hip-hop core, hearkening back to the golden era ethos of Digable Planets and A Tribe Called Quest while simultaneously searching for that new, unfound sound. To best prepare yourself for the Doks Robotiks live experience, digest their “Free Form” EP.

Sarah White:

Sarah White has toured nationally, sharing stages and collaborating with talented artists including Yasiin Bey, K-OS, Macy Gray, King Britt, J*Davey, and M.anifest, doing everything from live bands & dj sets to vocal soundscapes & acoustic candlelit harmonies. Proving that being a mother doesn’t mean you have to drop a beat, Sarah has independently released 2 solo albums, her voice is featured on record label releases from the Midwest to Tokyo and won Scion’s Best Electronic Vocalist Competition in 2009.
