Nooky Jones:

"Nooky Jones is a name that keeps popping up around town. If you haven’t seen them yet, know this: They’re smooth. Really smooth... Towards the end of his set he sang his signature Sweet Wine, and it was difficult not to see him as some sort of reverend, preaching a sermon of soul music..."

Nooky Jones is a Minneapolis-based neo-soul group with influences from D’Angelo and Robert Glasper to Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Since forming in 2014, the band has delivered its sound to several major venues in the Twin Cities including First Avenue, Icehouse, and The Fitzgerald Theater.  Nooky Jones has also toured the Midwest performing shows in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Chicago.  With their debut record set for release in the Spring of 2017, Nooky Jones is taking Soul and R&B to hip and modern heights.

deM atlaS:

Since signing to indie heavyweight Rhymesayers Entertainment in late 2013, deM atlaS hasn't wasted any time in spreading his brand of Hip-Hop music across the world. Steadily on the road since his signing, he was able to find the time to release his unofficial debut, DWNR, in late 2014. DWNR was a special release because each cover was uniquely hand-drawn by deM atlaS himself. Released to critical acclaim, the first pressing of over 1000 copies sold outwithin 48 hours.

"DWNR, his grunge-influenced Rhymesayers debut, is deeply melancholy, and splits the difference on 'depressed' and 'party mode'" -Pitchfork

deM followed the release of DWNR with major festival plays around the country, and supporting label mates Atmosphere on the "North of Hell", "Welcome to FL" & "Fortunate” Tours.

After taking a break in France to record with French super group Ursus Minor, deM returned home and released his second EP titled mF deM on July 15th, 2016. The project features new lyrics over 13 previously released MF DOOM beats and is available for FREE via Digital download at Fifth Element and Vinyl and CD in LIMITED quantities.

He's putting the finishing touches on a full-length debut album and currently gearing up to hit the road with Atmosphere and Brother Ali on the Freshwater Fly Fishermen Tour starting September 9th, 2016 spanning the U.S. and Canada with more dates to be announced.
