With a new trio comprised of violinist Sara Pajunen and bassist Cody McKinney, Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Chris Koza present a special night of music only at Icehouse as Koza & Co. dive into his newest release "In Real Time" as well as intriguing takes on material from earlier solo and recent Rogue Valley albums. Opening the evening, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Kara Laudon takes a break from her keyboard/vocal demands playing alongside John Mark Nelson to perform a set of her own captivating originals.
Chris Koza has toured the country and shared the stage with many amazing and notable artists such as Brandi Carlile, Neko Case, Ingrid Michaelson, The Jayhawks, Stephen Kellogg, Tift Merritt, Field Report, and others. Chris's music has appeared internationally on dozens of television and cable network programs, short films, documentaries, and feature films. When not on tour, he resides in Minneapolis, MN.

Kara was born and raised in Minnesota. She picked up guitar at age thirteen and fell in love with playing, singing, and songwriting. Kara further pursued her music by attending McNally Smith College of Music earning a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Kara has performed at many of the major venues in the twin cities.
