ALL PROCEEDS GO THE ST. PAUL LOVE PROJECT, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED BY RYAN OGLE.

PERFORMANCES BY Guthrie, Lil Skam & Danny C, Boyz in the Woodz, Nate Millyunz.

The Legacy of Love is a tribute show for the late Ryan Ogle, a wonderful person and talented producer who lost his life earlier this year. The show is a fundraiser for the St. Paul Love Project, a non-profit organization that was founded by Ryan; which has since been taken over by those who support the dreams and have chosen to continue the legacy he left behind. The St. Paul Love Project’s mission is simple: get people involved in music and art who wouldn't necessarily be financially capable of doing so themselves. This is a celebration of a beautiful life and is the opportunity for people like you to touch the lives of those around you, as we are all still here to enjoy the blessing of life.

Guthrie:

Lil Skam & Danny C:

Jon Lind "Lil Skam" was born in St. Paul Minnesota where he was raised until He was about 7 where he and his family moved to a trailer Park on Burnsville Parkway in Burnsville not too far from the city. He has a mother Theresa Morris, a father Daniel Lind and a Step Dad Shawn Morris. He also has 2 younger brothers. Money always was tight with the family at the beginning, bills were piling up and it was getting stressful around the house, as a young kid that just means not too many extra fun things would be around like games and toys but to the family it means warnings of eviction all the time and repossession of things from the bank. He was introduced to Hip hop when he snuck into his Uncle Monte's (ScamAnon) Basement when he was about 11 where he had Hip Hop CD's Mix tapes and Instrumentals that he started listening to. He fell in love with the music as soon as he heard it, his Father listened to old rock and country music and his mother listened to old rock from the 80's and 90's pop music. But he found hip hop relate-able to his life talking about struggling and overcoming it with the use of music that was completely new to him compared to what he listened to with his family. Ever since then, Jon started doing his research about what hip hop was all about. After he knew what he was dealing with, it was then that Jon wanted to be an MC. His Uncle helped him write his first rap song that he performed at a talent show in the 5th grade, and his uncle taught Jon how to write a rap song. His first rap name was J-L1ndy because in football, everyone called him Lindy, then he switched to LJay 4 years later but quickly threw that name out because he knew so many other people have that name. He thought of some names other people wouldn’t and couldn’t possibly have and that’s when he came up with Lil Skam, because his uncle was/is like a father figure to him and his uncle's stage name is ScamAnon. He worked hard and vigorously for 8 years writing about the stresses he has and the stresses he had growing up. Lil Skam's Style is a style that expresses his inner anger and aggressive manner in controversy to his shyness and usually passive manner. and telling his secrets more to help inspire other people like his uncle inspires him "It was an escape and a way to vent through Everything" He started battling MC's to vent his anger toward another person when he was 16 and he was actually good winning a lot more then he lost. When on the stage, be it battling or performing, Lil Skam has a natural Stage Presence that people enjoy because he can make a show. He met Team BNT by a talent show a friend of his heard about in a college in Inver Grove Heights. Where in the crowd Dan Cemensky and Shaun Fitterer heard this rapper that unlike the other rappers standing around saying words onto a microphone; was jumping around moving around making an actual voice that people naturally hear. He was introduced after the talent show to team FlowRestEnt a hybrid Label of Team BNT where he currently is now.

Danny C is a Rapper/Musician/Producer/Engineer/Manager/Promoter.

Boyz in the Woodz:

Hailing from the Northlands of Minnesota, Boys In the Woodz are a young, creative, and energetic group. Founded by three members: Max Wesely (Wesely), Cole Gobel (Smallz), and Keane Carlson (KWC). These boys had all felt the artist inside themselves years prior to forming "Boys in the Woodz". Before BitW was even a thought, the only thing the boys were concerned about was creating music. Before they ever had stepped foot in a studio the boys were recording in Wesely's closet at his parents house during the day and drunk freestyling in the trailer at night. A party junction which brought with a lively stage show, blue collar presence, booze fueled tales, not so everyday scenarios as well as your basic day to day living resulting in a catchy unique sound. B.I.T.W. is on the their way to stardom. As they are becoming one of the top rising acts in the Minnesota hip hop scene. With countless shows under their belt and more piling in the boys have built a live stage presence that is to be reckoned with. They have released 2 projects. "Solids, Liquids, and Hot Smoke" and "Welcome to the Woodz". Also they have worked on various singles and collaboration with other local MN artist's. Currently B.I.T.W is working on their highly anticipated album "Outta Nowhere". Release date: TBA.

Nate Millyunz:

Singer, songwriter, hip-hop/rap recording artist and clothing line entrepreneur Nathan John Mills aka “Nate Millyunz” was born in Tennessee in 1991. Nate acquired the South’s great passion for music at a young age. This passion followed him to Twin Cities, Minnesota where he moved at the age of six. During his upbringing Nate was constantly surrounded by dedicated musicians who taught Nate that his passion for music could be harnessed to express his own experiences and emotions.
Early Childhood
Millyunz’ first forays into music were directly inspired by great American rock bands like Kansas and The Eagles (the first song Nate ever learned to perform being “Carry on My Wayward Son” by the former). However, Millyunz soon branched out and during the late 90’s began his, punk inspired, “skater” days. Nate’s love for bands like Blink 182, saw that his first days on stage were spent singing for several different punk, hard-core, and metal bands. It wasn’t until his junior high-school year that Nate began experimenting with hip-hop. By the time Nate entered senior year his skill had developed enough that, at the urging of his very impressed friends and peers, he got to work writing and recording serious material.
Adult Life
Since the start of his career a few years ago, Nate has been busy songwriting and recording with features from huge names like, PRS (formerly Tweet from R&B group next), Dizzy Wright, ModSun, and actor/rapper KeVo Da KiD. Nate Millyunz has released two EPs: Hollow Body Hip-Hop, and W.T.F.I.M.R.D and has had incredible success with the February 2014 release of his first full length album: “The Distress Kit”. The album is a concept piece inspired by Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, that contains an impressive variety that truly showcases the versatility that Nate brings to the music scene. Following his release of “The Distress Kit” Millyunz released his “Waves” E.P. , a collection of 5 singles including a banger that takes fans back to the 1990’s.
In the spring of 2015, Nate released his mixtape titled “50 Shades” illustrating the 50 Shades of Nate as an artist and as an individual person. Millyunz wanted to show the world that he is not just a “rapper” but rather an artist of many shades with a true entrepreneur spirit as demonstrated by his clothing line, his ability to execute his own business plans to promote himself as an independent artist and his musical talent as a rapper, singer and songwriter.
Nate will follow up his “50 Shades” project with the spring release of “Evening Star Way” named after the street he grew up on in his hometown of Farmington, MN. Nate has a variety of songs ranging from party bangers to easy listening tunes that tell his story and share his life experiences. As a rapper Nate is both dedicated and meticulous, his attention to detail shows in his music, as does his constant emphasis on metaphor rife punch-lines. He has performed many shows throughout the US alongside some incredible performers – including: MGK, Dizzy Wright, Caskey, Mike Stud, Jerron Benton, Ritzz, Snow Tha Product, French Montanta, Chris Webby, Mod Sun, Huey Mack, Honey Cocaine, Johnny Craig, Kyle Lucas, OnQue, Rapper DJ Unk, Kutt Kalhoun, NaPalm, Kosha Dillz, Six Reasons and Skaterrman. He has recently had the opportunity to perform on three tours with OnQue, Chris Webby and most recently Mike Stud.

Nate will be following up his album release with his first headlining tour that will hit 8 major cities in the Midwest to support the project.
