Eyelids:

“scholars of sunshine pop” - Keith Cameron, Mojo

"A whirlwind of tangled acoustic and electric guitars that gets stuck in your head and continues to spin long after the tune is over– NPR Heavy Rotation

Eyelids have a collective history creating music for some of the most legendary indie songwriters. Longtime friends and principle songwriters John Moen (Decemberists) and Chris Slusarenko (Guided by Voices, Boston Spaceships) channel their teenage Paisley Underground obsession and love of New Zealand / Flying Nun guitar buzz into a sound they describe as “sweet melodies and bummer vibes.”

This November, they’ll be joining the Charlatans on their US tour, a band Eyelids have always loved and admired.   “We’re looking forward to opening their soda cans for them and sweeping up all the sweat after they leave the stage for potential re-sale,” adds Chris.  “It’s going to be amazing!”

This summer, Eyelids released a self-titled EP this summer, produced by Peter Buck of R.E.M. Eyelids is available digitally and limited edition colored vinyl (Jealous Butcher / Schizophonic Records) with a download card featuring three exclusive live videos (including Stephen Malkmus performing “Hey Joe” w/ Eyelids).  The EP immediately follows sold-out pressings of three 7” and their full length album, 854.

Basement Apartment:

Basement Apartment started out as a lo-fi art project by Vince Caro – releasing "Interstellar EP" in 2002 on local indie label Susstones. In 2004 Basement Apartment compiled 13 new tracks for a more realized full-length; the AM power-pop inspired "Transistor!" followed by their second full-length album, "Pine Tree Hill" on the MPLS LTD label.

Also a member of Minneapolis shoe-gaze wonders The Flavor Crystals, Vince, along with Andy Iwanin, Steve Finch,  Kristina Caro and Janey Winterbauer recorded their third full-length which took place in three settings; a basement, a dome shaped cabin, and the amazing Flower's studio in Minneapolis. 2014 marked the release of BA's self-titled record, which is available in a Limited Edition transparent green vinyl.

"Beautiful harmonies glisten the sound waves between Caro, Janey Winterbauer and his wife Kristina while the new songs bounce back and forth between the beautiful pop of Transistor! and 60’s psychedelia. At times it’s like listening to a 2014 version of early Pink Floyd (Syd Barrett-style)." [JB - TWTHS]

A crew of co-conspirators will cast their talents live including: Tim Ritter (Shapeshifter, Bella Koshka, & Still Pacific) and Eric Furlong (44 Long, Sunset Valley).
